Sarah Syndergaard, PA

Sarah is passionate about helping patients uncover the root causes of their symptoms and guiding them toward long-term health, vitality, and balance. With a strong foundation in traditional medicine and a growing focus on integrative care, she brings a thoughtful, science-based, and patient-centered approach to every visit. She empowers patients to take an active role in their health journey, working to uncover the "why" behind their symptoms and develop thoughtful, individualized care plans that promote sustainable wellness.

Sarah completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Marquette University and began her career in Nephrology and a dynamic Surgery practice, where she developed a deep appreciation for the complexity of the human body and the importance of personalized, preventative care. Her transition to integrative medicine was driven by a desire to do more than manage symptoms, but to empower her patients to truly thrive.

Sarah believes in the powerful intersection of Western and functional medicine and is committed to using the best of both worlds to support each patient’s individual goals. She focuses on optimizing health and performance for patients across a wide range of concerns – from hormonal imbalances and gut health to energy, metabolism, and prevention. She is passionate about creating space for her patients to feel heard, understood, and supported every step of the way. She embodies the lifestyle she encourages, focusing on whole-body wellness, sustainable habits, and living in alignment with one's values.

Outside the clinic, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, cooking and experimenting with new recipes, exploring new places through travel, and spending time outdoors.
