Dr. Angela McKaye, ND
Dr. Angela McKaye is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and Licensed Acupuncturist who specializes in helping patients with complex and chronic health conditions that often go undiagnosed or unresolved. She has a special clinical focus on conditions such as POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome), dysautonomia, hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS), mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS), chronic fatigue, and chronic pain disorders. Serving patients in De Pere, Green Bay, and throughout Wisconsin, Dr. McKaye takes an integrative and functional medicine approach to uncover root causes and help patients regain stability, energy, and quality of life.
Dr. McKaye’s path to naturopathic medicine began with her own personal health journey. After suffering a severe back injury in her early twenties that resulted in years of pain, failed treatments, and eventually paralysis in her leg, she experienced firsthand how challenging it can be to navigate complex medical conditions. Through the support of an integrative care team that included chiropractic care, acupuncture, physical therapy, and surgery, she was ultimately able to recover and return to an active life. This experience shaped her philosophy of care: healing often requires persistence, collaboration, and a willingness to explore multiple approaches to support the body’s ability to recover.
Her training spans multiple disciplines of integrative medicine. Dr. McKaye completed her undergraduate studies at Eastern Michigan University and went on to earn advanced degrees from the University of Western States (Doctor of Chiropractic), the National University of Natural Medicine (Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine), and the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (Licensed Acupuncturist). Her diverse training allows her to approach patient care with a broad understanding of musculoskeletal health, naturopathic medicine, and traditional acupuncture.
Dr. McKaye believes that patients deserve providers who will truly listen and remain committed to finding solutions. She understands how discouraging it can be to hear that symptoms must simply be accepted, and she works closely with each patient to explore thoughtful, individualized strategies for healing and recovery.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. McKaye enjoys spending time with her two dogs, kayaking, knitting, beading, crafting, playing volleyball, or cheering on a good hockey game.
