Cancer Testing in
De Pere, Wisconsin: OncoTrace and Onconomics Plus
When navigating a cancer diagnosis, having more information can help support informed conversations with your healthcare team. Wagner Integrative Health in De Pere, Wisconsin, offers specialized blood testing through RGCC (Research Genetic Cancer Centre) to provide additional information about circulating tumor cells and, with certain tests, how cancer cells respond to selected treatment agents.
Blood samples are collected at Wagner Integrative Health and sent to RGCC’s laboratory in Iceland for processing and analysis. These tests may provide additional information for patients and practitioners who are exploring a personalized, integrative approach to cancer care.

RGCC Testing Available at Wagner Integrative Health
Oncotrace Plus
Oncotrace testing evaluates circulating tumor cells in a blood sample. RGCC describes Oncotrace as assessing the presence and number of these cells, along with selected characteristics that may provide additional information for clinical discussions and monitoring.
Depending on the patient's circumstances, a provider may consider this type of testing when additional information about circulating tumor cells is desired as part of an existing cancer care plan.
Onconomics
Onconomics testing is designed to evaluate how a patient's isolated cancer cells respond to selected chemotherapy agents and targeted therapies. The results may provide additional information for a treating clinician when discussing potential treatment options.
RGCC also offers Onconomics Plus, which combines analysis of conventional treatment agents with testing of selected natural substances. Your provider can help clarify which test is available and whether it may be relevant to your individual situation.
These tests are intended to support clinical decision-making, not independently determine which treatment a patient should receive. Treatment decisions should remain coordinated with the patient's oncology team.
How Does the Testing Process Work?
What Is RGCC Cancer Testing?
RGCC offers specialized laboratory tests that analyze circulating tumor cells (CTCs)—cells that have detached from a tumor and entered the bloodstream. Depending on the test selected, analysis may include the number and characteristics of circulating tumor cells, as well as their response to certain treatment agents.
Unlike a tissue biopsy, which collects a sample directly from a specific area, these tests use a blood sample. They offer a different type of information that may complement other clinical findings.
RGCC testing is not a replacement for standard cancer screening, diagnostic evaluation, imaging, biopsy, or care from an oncology team. Results should be interpreted by a qualified healthcare provider alongside a patient's medical history, established diagnostic testing, and treatment plan.
Is RGCC Testing Right for You?
RGCC testing may be worth discussing with your healthcare provider if you have a cancer diagnosis and want to understand what additional information specialized circulating tumor cell testing may offer.
The usefulness of testing depends on your individual circumstances, the specific test selected, and how the results may inform clinical discussions. Not every test is appropriate for every patient, and results may not detect all cancers or reflect every aspect of a tumor.
If cancer is suspected, do not delay standard diagnostic evaluation while considering specialized testing. If you are currently receiving cancer treatment, do not start, stop, or change prescribed treatment or supplements based on these results without discussing the decision with your treating oncology team.
A Personalized Approach to Cancer Care in De Pere
At Wagner Integrative Health, we recognize that navigating cancer care can raise complex questions. Our goal is to help patients understand available testing options and have informed conversations about how additional information may fit into their overall care.
RGCC testing can provide specialized laboratory findings, but it has limitations and does not guarantee a particular outcome. It should be considered alongside established cancer care, not in place of it.

Our staff includes an ILADS trained provider, Tanya Jensen NP, experienced in complex, chronic Lyme disease.
“I never imagined Lyme Disease could be the root of my symptoms, until I met with Tanya at Wagner Integrative Health. For years, I dealt with chronic tension headaches almost daily and persistent knee pain. Traditional doctors offered no real answers, and I started to believe this was just my ‘normal.’ When my Lyme test came back positive I was shocked. Through a personalized treatment plan that included multiple rounds of antibiotics, targeted supplements, and therapies like sauna and cold plunge sessions at WIH, along with grounding practices at home and massage therapy, I finally began to feel real relief. Today I rarely get headaches and my joint pain is completely gone. I’m so grateful for the care and comprehensive approach I received at Wagner Integrative Health-it truly changed my life.”
