  • A new patient evaluation consists of approximately 60 minutes spent with your provider. You’ll discuss your goals, your comprehensive health history including your current symptoms, medications and lifestyle, and start to develop a treatment plan that fits your goals. • Integrative and functional medicine are very similar. They are both specialties that look “outside of the box,” helping patients look at alternative options for their health. Instead of just treating diseases and symptoms, they both look for the root cause of these diseases and symptoms. Most importantly both specialties look at the patient as a whole by using a more holistic and comprehensive approach to their healthcare. Your best bet is a provider who embraces both. At Wagner Integrative Health, we have a team of integrative and functional medical providers to meet your needs. When choosing a provider, review the provider’s credentials and determine whether they align with your health needs. There are many clinicians who label themselves as integrative or functional and it’s important to verify the credentials and experience of anyone with whom you are entrusting your health.

  • After your first evaluation with your provider, they recommend at least one follow-up to finalize your treatment plan and go over any labs that were ordered. After the initial appointment, the number of follow-up appointments depends on the complexity of your case and whether your provider is managing any of your prescription medications. Our goal is to minimize the number of times you need to see us and get you back in control of your own health.

Many patients are pleased to find that much of your visit may be covered or applied to your deductible.
