What is Q-REstrain SOT Therapy?
Q-REstrain SOT (Supportive Oligonucleotide Technique) is a highly targeted therapy developed by RGCC International that aims to help the body address specific pathogens, including Borrelia, the bacteria associated with Lyme disease.
SOT therapy works by using precision-designed oligonucleotides, which are small strands of genetic material created to target the genetic expression of a specific microoganism.
In simple terms, the therapy is designed to:
Target the genetic processes of the pathogen
Help prevent the microorganism from replicating
Allow the immune system to more efficiently clear the infection
Because it is highly targeted, the goal is to address the infection while minimizing impact on healthy cells.
What to Expect as a Patient
If you’re interested in Q-REstrain for Lyme Disease, there are several steps involved to ensure the treatment is appropriate and personalized for you.
Comprehensive Integrative Health Evaluation
Your journey begins with a full medical evaluations with one of our providers. This visit allows us to:
Review your medical history
Discuss symptoms or prior treatments
Evaluation potential tick-borne infections
Determine whether additional testing is needed
Lyme disease and co-infections can be complex, so this step ensures we create the most appropriate treatment plan.
Advanced Lyme Testing
Before SOT therapy can be ordered, a positive Lyme test is required. At Wagner Integrative Health, we utilize several specialty laboratories, known for more advanced tick-borne disease testing. These panels include: IGeneX, Galaxy Diagnostics, Medical Diagnostic Laboratories, and Vibrant Wellness. These labs offer more sensitive testing methods that may help identify Lyme disease and related infections when standard testing has been inconclusive. Once a qualifying infection is confirmed, the process for SOT therapy can begin.
Creating Your Personalized Q-REstrain SOT
A blood sample is collected and sent to RGCC International. Their laboratory uses the sample to develop a custom SOT therapy designed specifically for the pathogen identified in your test results. This process ensures the therapy is tailored to the infection affecting your body.
IV Administration of SOT Therapy
Once the personalized therapy is returned to our clinic, you will come in for a single IV infusion. During the appointment, the infusion is administered intravenously. The infusion typically takes 30-60 Minutes. Patients are monitored by our clinical staff during the treatment. Most patients tolerate therapy well, and most are able to resume normal activities afterward. Your provider will also guide you through supportive therapies, detox support, and follow-up care to help your body respond optimally to treatment.
Schedule an Evaluation
If you have been struggling with chronic symptoms, have a history of tick exposure, or have previously tested positive for Lyme disease, Q-REstrain SOT therapy may be an option for you. The first step is scheduling an evaluation.
